New Joint Venture by LOXXESS and MSK Goes Live

  • Under the umbrella of Narcotic Solutions, the two German family-owned companies LOXXESS pharma & healthcare and MSK Pharma Group jointly offer “Made in Germany” logistics services for narcotics (BtM) and medical cannabis (MedCan).
  • With a combined portfolio of more than 100 pharmaceutical clients, the partners bring extensive experience in advising and supporting pharmaceutical companies.

Meerbusch, October 1, 2026. LOXXESS pharma & healthcare and MSK Pharma Group have established a joint venture: Narcotic Solutions provides end-to-end logistics services for narcotics (BtM) and medical cannabis (MedCan) in the German market. Any company wishing to distribute narcotics or medical cannabis in Germany must utilize a national warehouse and distribution infrastructure that meets the highest standards of security, documentation, and quality.

To meet these requirements, both partners have combined their strengths within the specialized joint venture Narcotic Solutions. The venture offers dedicated infrastructure, in-depth operational expertise in narcotics and medical cannabis logistics, and comprehensive regulatory know-how. Clients benefit from access to the extensive and experienced quality teams of both family-owned companies.

“Medical cannabis, narcotics, and highly regulated pharmaceuticals require the highest standards of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and resilient supply chains. As family-owned businesses, both partners stand for sustainable entrepreneurship. The strong commitment of our shareholders enables us to implement this cooperation reliably for our clients, invest purposefully in security and compliance, and develop the business on a sound economic basis,” says Robert Mauermann, Member of the Executive Board of the LOXXESS Group.

A Dedicated Logistics Site

A state-of-the-art, dedicated facility in Meerbusch, North Rhine-Westphalia, has been established for the storage and distribution of narcotics and medical cannabis, meeting the highest security standards. The site combines specialized security infrastructure with pharmaceutical process expertise, including narcotics handling authorization, wholesale distribution authorization, GDP and GMP expertise, serialization, quality control services, and support for customer-specific quality management systems.

“We are planning sustainable and organic growth for our logistics offering of narcotics and medical cannabis distribution from Germany to Europe. Together, we provide specialized narcotics expertise combined with the full capabilities of two experienced, family-owned pharmaceutical and healthcare logistics providers,” says Simon Heß, CEO of MSK Pharma Group.

Especially in the field of narcotics and medical cannabis, the challenge extends far beyond secure storage. Regulatory requirements, licenses, documentation obligations, and changing market conditions frequently raise complex questions for pharmaceutical companies. LOXXESS and MSK address these challenges through their joint offering. It is more than a logistics solution; it helps ensure the continuous availability of critical medicines.
