Cookies

Scope of Data Processing

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer when you visit our website. They do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain malware such as viruses. Cookies contain a unique string of characters that allows the browser to be identified when the website is revisited. Some elements of our website require that the browser can be recognized even after a page change.

This is not done by assigning the cookie to you personally, but by assigning an identification number to the cookie (“cookie ID”). The cookie ID is not combined with your name, IP address, or similar data that would allow the cookie to be linked to you.

This website uses both transient and persistent cookies:

  • Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include session cookies, which store a session ID that allows various requests from your browser to be assigned to the same session. When you return to our website, your computer can be recognized again. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
  • Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser’s security settings.

Purpose of Data Processing

We use cookies to make our website more attractive and user-friendly, to improve it, and to speed up requests. Some elements of our website require that the browser can be recognized even after a page change.

Legal Basis of Processing

The legal basis for processing personal data using technically necessary cookies is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR as well as Art. 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR.

Duration of Storage

Possibility of Objection and Removal

As a user, you have full control over the use of cookies. By changing the settings in your internet browser, you can disable the storage of cookies altogether or have them automatically deleted at the end of your internet session. For example:

  • In Microsoft Internet Explorer: “Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Settings”
  • In Firefox: “Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies”

For other browsers, please refer to the help function for instructions on preventing and deleting cookies.

Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of our website.
