25 Years Dedicated to Health
For more than 25 years, the three letters MSK have stood for outstanding services in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Founded by Klaus-Dieter and Marion Heß, MSK has successfully established itself as a medium-sized family business.
Our family values continue to shape the way we work together. At the same time, we place the highest importance on strong quality awareness. Only through uncompromising quality can we convince customers, suppliers, and authorities of our services – and secure a strong, positive reputation in the market.
Our Values
Alongside sustainable economic growth, our goal is to continuously develop and expand our range of services – always guided by our five core values: Passionate – Family Spirit – Transparent Communication – Responsible Handling of Products – Reliable.
These values are a decisive factor in every decision we make and in every process we evaluate. Our focus lies on quality, efficiency, flexibility, speed, responsibility, and safety.
1
Passionate
We pursue our mission and goals with genuine passion.
2
Family Spirit
At MSK, we cultivate a family-like atmosphere where people feel connected and supported.
3
Transparent Communication
Our communication is open and transparent – just like our attitude toward new ideas, developments, and technologies.
4
Responsible Handling of Products
We treat our customers’ products with the utmost care and responsibility, ensuring quality, safety, and respect for resources at every step.
5
Reliable
We are a dependable partner, committed to the highest standards of quality in our work and processes.
Innovation Meets Responsibility – That’s MSK
As a mid-sized family business, living our values is our greatest strength. Every process at MSK is designed to support these values and contribute to our goals. At the center of our work are the safety of products and the satisfaction of our customers.
We rely on a broad and diverse customer base instead of a few major clients. Each customer is seen as a partner, valued not only for revenue but also for shared principles such as sustainability and collaboration.
As a family-led company, we invest in the development and well-being of our employees. Training and qualification are the foundation of our success – which is why we actively support apprenticeships together with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).
Our high quality standards go beyond legal requirements. We are committed to consistently applying and improving our quality management system to meet the expectations of our customers and ourselves.

1997
Foundation of MSK Pharmalogistic GmbH
After three decades in logistics for Upjohn GmbH, our founder took the bold step into independence. With extensive experience, passion, and a firm belief in better pharmaceutical logistics, MSK Pharmalogistic GmbH was born.
Our first warehouse space was rented from InfectoPharm GmbH – a partner who continues to accompany us to this day. This is how our journey began: with a small team, but big ideas.
2001
Our First Own Building
It soon became clear that space was running out – a good sign of growth. At Donnersbergstraße 4 in Heppenheim, we established our very first company headquarters with 1,100 m² of space.
From the very beginning, it was clear that quality and responsibility go hand in hand. That is why our warehouse was already climate-controlled back then, ensuring safe storage in the ambient range (15–25 °C).

2004
Hall 2 and First GMP Certification
With the construction of our second warehouse and GMP certification under §13 AMG, we were able to further expand our services. On around 3,000 m², we now offered certified storage and packaging areas. Our team grew to 18 dedicated employees.
Even back then, our ambition was clear: MSK stands for more than logistics – it stands for true reliability.
2018
Generational Change and Serialization
With Simon Heß joining as the third managing director, a new chapter began. At the same time, we successfully introduced serialization – a milestone for our production lines. Since then, we have been producing in full compliance with EU-FMD on three lines. Our GMP areas were expanded, and the team grew to around 45 employees.

2020
New Warehouse Space in Heppenheim
At Odenwaldstraße, we established another GDP-compliant storage facility for the 15–25 °C range – an important step toward greater capacity, flexibility, and improved customer service.
2021
More Space and New Packaging Area
Just one year later, we expanded again: in addition to extra storage capacity, a new packaging area of more than 300 m² was created.

2022
25 Years of MSK
We celebrated 25 years of MSK Pharmalogistic – a quarter of a century shaped by growth, innovation, and reliability. What began with a small team and big ideas has grown into a strong partner for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
2023
Opening of Distribution and Logistics Center Bensheim I
To further expand our services, we built a state-of-the-art center with storage areas for ambient (15–25 °C) and cold chain (2–8 °C). The facility offers 17,250 pallet spaces and 12,000 pick locations. Our site is climate-neutral and DGNB Gold certified.
On the 9,500 m² rooftop, our photovoltaic system generates around 640,000 kWh of electricity each year – enough to power 189 households. For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a responsibility.

2025
Launch of Bensheim II
Our second logistics center on the neighboring site at Berliner Ring in Bensheim has gone into operation. On 12,000 m², we combine administration, distribution, and storage – efficient, future-oriented, and CO₂-neutral.
With 45,000 ambient pallet spaces and 350 cold storage spaces, the site reflects what defines us: innovation and responsibility.
At the same time, our team has grown to 180 motivated employees – all actively shaping MSK’s future.
2025
Planning for Bensheim III
On 40,000 m², our third and largest logistics center is taking shape. Three units will feature cutting-edge technology – including a very narrow aisle warehouse with a bot system for order picking.
The facility will also include temperature-controlled storage, a cold store, and GMP-compliant cleanrooms.
An office building with a rooftop terrace will add an architectural highlight.
Construction start: January 2026 – Completion: March 2027.

Let’s write the next success story together!
